About the role
This role drives commercial outcomes and provides people leadership to an assigned portfolio of clients across the grocery, liquor and OTC pharmacy channels.
Responsibilities
- Attract, retain and develop a high performing team of insights professionals and data analysts
- Provide clients with accurate information and assign skilled, professional consultants whose skillsets match the client’s requirements
- Meet agreed revenue targets by identifying how client needs can be met using solutions portfolio and selling this to the key stakeholders
- Maximise client’s value derived from purchased solutions and consulting time
Skills and experience
- Degree qualified, preferably in Commerce or related subject
- Has successfully directly managed a team with responsibility for commercial outcomes
- Working knowledge of Category Management, Trade Marketing, Insights and/or Account Management within an FMCG or related environment
- Strong analytical skillset and proven ability to turn data into actionable insights
- High degree of Commercial acumen
- Ability to sell services or products B2B
- Organised with ability to prioritise and manage workload
- Very strong cross-functional communicator
- Ability to influence and negotiate positive outcomes internally and customer facing
- Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team
