The McCain marketing team is seeking a driven Product Manager who will be a fundamental addition to the team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to influence company plans, develop product strategies, drive incremental sales and manage the life cycle of a portfolio of products.
The McCain marketing team is seeking a driven Product Manager who will be a fundamental addition to the team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to influence company plans, develop product strategies, drive incremental sales and manage the life cycle of a portfolio of products.
As a Product Manager at McCain Foods, you will be responsible for:
- The management of NPD projects from concept through to execution
- Identifying product initiatives which will commercially strengthen the portfolio
- Providing input into key business strategies
- Executing the yearly business plan, communication strategy and innovation plans
- Delivering product growth to ensure financial targets are achieved
- Developing and implementing strategic brand plans which deliver business and brand objectives
- Conducting market research and extracting key insights
- Working closely with the quality team to ensure product quality and specifications are met
- Development of marketing collateral to support the sales team
- Providing feedback on market conditions and competitor activities
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- 5+ years experience in a product management, marketing communications or brand management role
- Proven capabilities in launching NPD’s from concept through to market execution
- Ability to maintain a high level of organisation and productivity under pressure
- Ability to develop new and improved ways of doing business
- Creative flair and ability to think outside the box
- Strong organisation and project management skills
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel interstate
