Detail information about job Marketing Co-ordinator. Terms and conditions vacancy

Gouldson Legal is a Brisbane CBD based Personal Injury Law firm, which assists clients all across Queensland. We’re going through an exciting period of growth, and as such we’re looking for an experienced Marketing Coordinator, with a strong foundation in social media, to join our marketing team.

This role requires someone with a strong base of experience in social media marketing (advertising, content and community management) who’s looking to take the next step in their career and expand into a more comprehensive marketing role. This role would primarily be responsible for social media and content, however it would also see you step into other areas outside of this – such as relationship management and strategy development – and potentially grow into the overall management of our marketing platform.

As such we’re looking for someone who is in for the long-haul, who’s looking to take their current expertise in social media management and content coordination (copy writing, content management, editing and publishing) to the next level and expand their skillset into other areas of our existing marketing platform.

Primarily, you would be responsible for the management of the firm’s social media channels, as well as content editing and publishing on our website and other channels. You would work with an established team, alongside remote experts in SEO and SEM, under the guidance of the firm’s Marketing Manager. We take a collaborative approach to our marketing efforts and you would be encouraged to share your ideas and strategies with the wider team for potential application in other channels.

Over time you would be given the opportunity to deepen your understanding of these channels and other areas of our platform, and be given the opportunity to coordinate and manage other areas of our strategy.

What we’re looking from you at this stage is:

  • At least 2+ years organic social media content creation and publication experience (use of publishing platforms such a Hootsuite), across at least Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, with channel experience outside of this favourable;
  • At least 2+ years social media advertising experience, across same;
  • At least 2+ years social media reporting experience, across same;
  • At least 2+ years of social community management across same;
  • Strong data and analysis skills, able to translate learnings from advertising campaigns into clear reports and recommendations;
  • Previous experience with strategy development for social media advertising, including audience creation and use of the range of FB campaign options;
  • Experience with publishing on WordPress CMS;
  • Experience with Google Analytics for reporting and analysis;
  • Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator required, familiarity with other Adobe programs favourable;
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills – with both internal and external stakeholders;
  • Excellence in social media copy writing and communication;
  • Impeccable proofing and editing skills;
  • An outgoing and driven attitude, with a strong desire to learn and grow into this role;
  • Previous experience with concept development and design for print and digital marketing material;
  • Experience with use of DLSR for photography (required) and ideally videography (desired);
  • Experience with database/CRM management and cleaning highly regarded;
  • Previous experience with eDM creation and management highly regarded;
  • Experience in a challenging vertical, such as insurance, finance, medical or law strongly desired (we work within legislative guidelines in a highly competitive space, so familiarity with this would be highly regarded);

It’s important to note that there would be some expectations around community management outside of business hours as a component of the role. There would also be some commitments outside of standard office hours at times, working with charity and community organisations we’re partnered with, as well as a range of benefits in the form of tickets to shows, sporting games and marketing events, courtesy of our media partners – so a sparkling personality is a must!

You must be a self-starter and able to manage several projects on the go at any one time.

This role would be well suited to someone with strong previous social media and content experience looking to expand their skills and step into a larger role. The role will continue to grow and expand over time, with a long-term view towards management of more areas of the marketing department.

This is a full-time, in-house role based in our Brisbane CBD office.

Please send your CV and Cover Letter to [email protected] for consideration.

No recruiters please.
