A unique opportunity has become available for a creative individual with strong administration and organisational skills to join our Bid and Estimating Team. 
  
About the role:
A SHAPE Australia Bid Specialist is responsible for developing and writing tender submissions and expressions of interests. As part of your responsibilities you will:

• Compile all documentation, proof and prepare tender submissions for approval.
• Format, print and bind submissions to a high design standard.
• Establish and manage Bid Action Plans for delivery of submission requirements.
• Maintain and update Bid & Strategy documentation/information database.
• Support the Estimating team with coordination, document control, and sub-contractor collaboration.
• Draft and edit executive summaries as required.
• Compile client Request for Tender documentation.
• Provide client research and background analysis to the bid lead.
• Provide effective communication & collaboration with internal stakeholders of each tender.
• Ensure subcontractor and supplier awareness in relation to SHAPE bid philosophies and strategies.
• Identify improvement strategies throughout the bid process.
• Create dynamic opportunities and maximise the customer experience.

What we are looking for?
This is a fast paced role that who would suit someone who is keen to learn, has a get your hand's dirty attitude and like to be creative. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience in a Graphic Design, Communications or Tender Submissions coordinator role.
• Design skills with a flair for creativity and imagination.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with all stakeholders.
• Experience in communication design, styling, and branding awareness.
• Ability to work to deadlines, well organised and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Independent, innovative and lateral thinking skills.
• Flexibility, adaptability and being able to proactively problem solve.
• Proficient in full Adobe suite, including InDesign, MS Office products, and social media platforms.
