About You
Are you the Communications Support that we are looking for??  You will have relevant tertiary qualification(s), together with a proven background within the Media, Communications and Marketing arena.  You may be currently working within Local, State or Federal Government, or maybe new to Local Government, ready to share your solid experience, strategic advice and communication strategies. 

The position
This is a temporary position currently available for a short term contract.  The position will be varied on a daily basis, but will include :

• Coordinating all Marketing Campaigns & Promotions
• All Social Media website updating
• Liaise with and provide advice to the Mayor on all Media and Communications, together with all staff comms
• Media liaison, including direct communication, writing publications for articles, blogs, reports, etc.
• Key part of events and promotions
• Assisting with photography and images, together with having the ability to create and manipulate through the latest software packages
