We have an exciting opportunity for an Events Officer to join the Visitor Programs team. The ideal candidate will be a highly organised individual with a demonstrated background in Events from planning to execution. You will have experience across all facets of Events, including: event concept, event planning and event execution.
You will be part of the team responsible for the logistics, planning, stakeholder and contractor engagement, procurement and onsite operations for Melbourne Zoo Events including Zoo Twilights, Dream Night and Member Events. As well as new and exciting events that are being developed as part of Melbourne Zoo's visitor engagement plan.
You may also be required to work outside of normal hours as part of the event role.
You will demonstrate the following qualities:

• Energetic with a high level of motivation
• Highly organised with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work creatively in a team and individually
