We have a huge opportunity for an experienced eCommerce Digital Manager to join our Marketing team located in St Kilda!

The eCommerce Digital Manager will report to the Marketing Manager and be responsible for the delivery of a customer-focused strategy that supports the top line business goals, and the brands three core pillars of Fashion, Lifestyle & Community.

The position requires a strong knowledge of fashion trends, data analytics, behavioural science, budgeting and general digital applications to provide the business with a profitable customer strategy. The eCommerce Digital Manager will lead an internal team as well as manage external agencies to deliver agreed targets and create metrics in line with the business strategy and market trends.

The eCommerce Digital Manager will work with the IT team to utilize the current loyalty, e-commerce, customer service and IT platforms.

Key responsibilities of the role will involve:

  • Delivering on eCommerce and Digital strategies that are aligned with the general business objectives and timelines
  • Managing SEO /SEM initiatives
  • Understanding and improving UX
  • Managing online stock
  • Customer Journey Mapping; analysing touch points and maximizing commercial opportunities
  • Monitor and maximize customer lifetime value strategies ensuring maximum profitability
  • Understand the customer personas for targeted digital marketing activities and online store optimisation
  • Provide end to end eDM direction to support digital strategy
  • Produce all weekly and monthly digital reports and analytics required
  • Provide the business with analytical insights to enable decisions that support customer experience, problem resolution and best practice
  • Collaborate with IT to develop and maintain CRM reporting and key metrics and distribute to key stakeholders
  • Understand the customer experience as well as the service-centric processes that make up the purchasing process spend and frequency.
  • Provide guidance, support and feedback to the team to ensure KPI’s are met
  • Manage external agencies ensuring agreed deliverables are achieved

As the ideal candidate, you will possess the following key attributes:

  • Demonstrated achievements in digital strategy, customer insights/analytics, database management, digital marketing and loyalty marketing
  • Expertise in a commercial sale driven environment, ideally in the fashion retail industry
  • Strong background in customer acquisition, re-engagement and retention strategies
  • Highly effective analytical skills; interpreting various forms of data to identify themes, apply insights and recommend solutions
  • Deep understanding of consumer-driven tactics with a proven track record of delivering value and measuring how marketing contributes to business goals
  • A confident and articulate communicator capable of inspiring strong collaboration in an organization
  • Degree educated
  • SEO / SEM and GA skills essential
