Reporting to the Director Public Affairs you will play a key role in developing strong relationships across a diverse lifestyle, educational and tourism-led organisation. You will interact with regional and corporate stakeholders with the purpose of delivering long-term improvements to communities and enhance reputation of Parks Victoria.
  
In collaboration with Executive and Senior Management team, you will develop new and creative ways for Parks Victoria to engage with its surrounding community. In this multi-faceted role, you will ensure the needs and aspirations of key stakeholders, including government, are carefully ascertained and monitored, to assist in the effective management of issues affecting Parks Victoria and their reputation.
  
In partnership with the Director Public Affairs and Manager Stakeholder Relations, you will translate community objectives into tangible outcomes. Further, you arrive with the ability to seamlessly remove and reduce barriers to change in order to execute regional and local growth strategies.
  
As a practitioner, you are a resilient champion of change with the courage to develop and implement community-driven strategies to respond to political, social and environmental changes. Above all, it is your creative and vibrant approach to community engagement that provides cut-through and results.  
  
To be successful, you are an inspiring and capable advocate motivated by driving change and promoting teamwork, employee development and empowerment with a passion for tourism, parks, and nature. 
  
You have an engaging demeanour, with exceptional stakeholder relations skills and a commitment to deliver.  Extensive experience in developing stakeholder and community engagement strategies is at your core.  Similarly, you have superior political awareness skills and capability to driven mutual beneficial outcomes for communities and Parks Victoria.
