Blue Planet PR is a small but vibrant boutique PR consultancy based in creative office spaces in Balmain, Sydney.
We are currently looking for an Account Manager (contract role) to oversee a major national project, and assist with existing clients. PR consultancy experience is a must (3+ years is ideal) – as are proven media contacts, an understanding of the media, and strong publicity and writing skills. We need a creative thinker – with the right attitude – who is prepared to work hard to get the job done, go the extra mile to keep clients happy, and who has a thorough and strategic understanding of the digital and social media space.
The successful candidate will be a confident self-starter, 110% results focused, who presents well, and doesn't have a 'too hard' basket. She / he should also be able to work independently with clients, media and junior staff. Working knowledge of MailChimp, Photoshop and/or Canva would be a bonus.
The role is 3+ days a week (with the potential for longer-term engagement) and flexible - we're OK if you need to work from home some days. We have good all-day, on street parking around the office.
