The Role - Marketing & Communications Advisor/Internal Engagement Advisor

Keeping in step with our thriving organisation, a newly created role within our in-house communications team is now available, responsible for internal communication strategies that align with the priorities of Baw Baw Shire Council.

As a dynamic and creative communications professional, you will develop and implement high quality communication strategies, including design of content, that drive internal buy-in of cultural change initiatives, organisational transformation and key projects. 

It is intended that this role will transform internal stakeholder’s knowledge and understanding of Council’s vision and direction.  Therefore, the successful, qualified candidate will require exceptional customer service, demonstrated project management skills and outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise and collaborate effectively with senior staff, Councillors and stakeholders.  Adobe Indesign experience will be highly regarded.

This position is an office based role with the preferred candidate able to work 5 days per week, at reduced hours.  The hours are negotiable for the preferred candidate, but must be in the range of 27 to 35 hours per week.
