Hawkins On Fire is seeking an experienced fire service technician/electrician to join our team. We require a multi-skilled technician/electrician with experience across a wide range of clients and industries. You may work in inspection and testing, fault finding, general repairs, minor works and larger installation projects across fire detection, warning and exit and emergency lighting. Ideally, we are looking for that rare individual who thrives on the technical challenge and wants to further grow and enhance their technical skills.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- A positive, "can do" attitude;
- A desire to work as a vital part of a small, dynamic team;
- A minimum of 3 years fire industry experience;
- An electrical trade qualification;
- A current ACA licence;
- A current drivers licence (manual);
- Thorough knowledge of Australian Standards and the BCA;
- Good communication skills;
- Strong customer focus;
- Be available for after hours calls on a rostered basis.
Candidates who hold a current Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing (CPP20511) or higher and/or Fire Protection Association Australia FPAS accreditation, in addition to the above qualifications and attributes will be looked upon favourably.
