WPC Group have several exciting and rare opportunities for enthusiastic, well presented, and motivated candidates who have the desire to become a highly skilled Automotive Mechanic based in Vermont. 


With a focus on attention to detail, customer service excellence and working well within two highly professional dealership teams, the ideal applicants will be passionate about the automotive industry, professionally presented, whilst being reliable, committed and driven to learn.

To become an apprentice with the WPC Group, we are looking for the following:

  • A passion for Automotive and the desire to become a highly skilled and in-demand mechanic
  • Commitment to a 4 year apprenticeship, including practical studies at TAFE with the opportunity for interstate training opportunities 
  • Strong sense of self-motivation and enthusiasm with a high work ethic and 'can do' attitude
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Professional presentation at all times
  • Honesty, trustworthiness and punctuality
  • Current Provisional Drivers License is essential

Duties:

  • Minor servicing of light vehicles.
  • Assisting mechanics where necessary.
  • Cleaning working areas.
  • Operating electrical test equipment.
  • Follow safe working practices in an automotive environment.
  • Use & maintain tools & equipment specific to light vehicle automotive.
  • Identify automotive electrical systems & components.

About the Apprenticeships:

  • Several positions available for 1st, 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentices
