About the business and the role
Aspire Fire & Electrical Services Pty Ltd specialises in installation and maintenance of all fire protection systems. Majority of our service sites are residential tower blocks and commercial premises, within Sydney metro area.
We are looking for a competent FIRE SERVICE TECHNICIAN with the right skillset to grow with and within our business and make this role your own!
We are based in the Sydney Northern Beaches, and prefer you to live somewhere within the metro area for our team to work seamlessly.
We need someone to jump in quickly and prefer an immediate start! Competitive salary negotiable depending on the experience and qualifications.

Job tasks and responsibilities
The required candidate would be expected to undertake the following tasks:
- Responsible of running & servicing all maintenance sites
- Fire detection & safety compliance testing and reports
- Testing of: Emergency lighting, Portable fire equipment, Fire door sets, Fire pump sets and Sprinkler systems
- Building professional relations with clients
- Involved in installation of fire alarm systems
Skills and experience
What we are expecting from the right candidate:
- Complete understanding of AS1851 Fire Maintenance Standard
- Knowledge of testing fire panels, OWS, sprinkler systems, fire pumps, fire extinguishers and other fire equipment
- Professional, well presented & honest
- Highly motivated & driven with close attention to detail
- Ability to complete given tasks within agreed timeframe
- Represent and drive forward our business
- Strict adherence to the rules and regulations within the trade and OH&S policies and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- No criminal records as many of our clients require a clean police check
- White card required
- Disconnect/Reconnect licence preferable
- Manual Drivers Licence
