Positions have become available for full time qualified:
Maintenance Electrician
Maintenance Fitter/Welder
These positions will be responsible for proactive preventive maintenance at our Young site.
These roles primarily support the smooth running of our production rooms by ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest standards to avoid unnecessary downtime. Tasks on a daily basis include but are not limited to:
- Effectively respond to breakdown callouts throughout the day ensuring minimal downtime.
- Participate in the maintenance program through SAP that includes preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, breakdowns and negligence.
- Assist in organizing and carrying out all site projects including the installation of new equipment and building improvements.
- Oversee current work practices and assist with implementing safe operating procedures
- Ensure accurate Asset malfunction and repair data is logged and submitted within a timely manner
To be successful you must have:
- Minimum 2 - 3 years experience in similar role
- Australian Recognised Trade Qualification
- WH&S Awareness
- Restricted electrical license Disconnect Reconnect favorable, but not would rule out a suitable applicant (not applicable for electrician)
- Availability to work rotating roster
- Good Verbal and Written communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Must be a Team Player and able to work unsupervised
- Small team so good attendance and reliability is a must
- Proven Mechanical breakdown and faultfinding skills
- Modification and improvement on equipment ranging from automated high speed conveyors to processing equipment.
- Welding ability including Tig & Mig (Fitter Welder)
- PLC experience for the Electrical position
