Niramaya Spa and Beauty, an established Day Spa located at the 5 Star exclusive resort, Niramaya Villas and Spa in Port Douglas in Far North Queensland is seeking the services of a bright, energetic and committed Spa Therapist to work within a professional team focused on driving the growth of the business to the next level.
Reporting to the Spa Manager, you will be responsible for the client experience from welcome and check-in, through to checkout and departure. You will be charged with the responsibility to ensure the client has the ultimate experience.
The Job description is listed below;
- Perform massage and beauty treatments on clients at a 5 star level.
- Attend to daily duties such as cleaning, stock replenishment and general operations of the Spa to maintain 5 star standards
- Attend and actively participate and contribute to sales meetings with the team in conjunction with Spa Director and Business Manager
- Complete staff training and ensure compliance with legislation, processes and procedures
- Engage with the team through exemplary client service and sound client feedback.
- Strong proven sales and homecare performance from past spa roles.
Homecare is an essential part of our business and your success in achieving targets for homecare to your valued clients will be expected and rewarded by an uncapped commission structure.
You will have at least 2 years experience in a 5 star day spa environment. You will also hold at a minimum, a Certificate IV in Massage, with preference being for those applicants holding a Diploma Qualification in Beauty or Remedial Massage.
You will be supported by a knowledgeable and experienced Spa Manager, and Spa Director, as well as a proactive and progressive Business Manager. Together as a team, we are seeking to drive the business forward.
