This is an exciting new role that has been developed with the Commercial Services team, due to the expansion of external events plus the opening of new academic and residential buildings on campus. The Commercial Services Team are responsible for the delivery of a range of activities across campus to enhance the student, staff and visitor experience.

As the volume of street food events and requirements within campus buildings have increased, this role has been created to oversee all mobile catering and external events across the campus, including vending machines, coffee carts and mobile catering vans.
The catering department hold street food festivals for university occasions throughout the academic year; we believe that great food and drink, an amazing team and beautiful surroundings create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
The ideal candidate will be customer focused and will require strong front of house skills, demonstrate a belief in achieving high standards and be willing to work hands on part of a team. The role will require a range of skills including the following - planning, organising, attention to detail but above all customer engagement and communication.
To be successful in this post you will need:
- Outstanding communication skills
- Have current knowledge of new food and drink trends
- Ability to lead, motivate, train and motivate your teams to go beyond the customers’ expectations
- Event or festival management experience would be an advantage
- Be organised and methodical with planning and logistics
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- Experience of writing risk assessments
- Experience of working with offsite contractors and companies
- Enjoy new challenges
This position is 35 hours per week for 52 weeks per year and is available immediately; some weekends and evenings may be required.
The post is available in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
