We seek to appoint an Administrative Officer to support the Project Manager and project team on the development and implementation of the QMUL Model.
The QMUL Model, launching in 2017/18, is a new teaching and learning initiative, designed to broaden the educational experience and bring distinctive and personalised elements to undergraduate programmes that ensure that students are fully equipped to make the best possible use of their experiences at university in order to achieve success after graduation.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to develop a career as a higher education administrative professional. The postholder will be involved in a major institutional project and will work with colleagues from departments across QMUL. They will undertake a range of activities, including maintaining records, supporting project groups and developing project documentation.
This is a fixed-term, full-time role (35 hours per week). The starting salary will be in the range of £26,717-£30,445 per annum depending on experience. The benefits package for this post include 30 days’ leave per annum and a defined benefit pension scheme.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
