Full time experienced Motor Mechanic position is available in Palmerston North. You should be able to identify faults in engines and take up necessary repair work.
The job involves diagnosing and testing parts with the use of computers, replacing worn out parts and testing parts after repairs, dismantling, and reassembling engines, performing such basics as changing oil, tuning, checking fluid levels, inspecting and replacing brakes/brake pads; also test and repair transmissions, suspension and steering. The ideal candidate should have fair knowledge and experience in general motor mechanics.
Minimum of one year experience preferred and should hold a degree or diploma in Automobile Engineering. The successful applicant should also have a Full drivers Licence and should be cleared of a pre-employment drug test and police check.
