The Company
Hydraulink Fluid Connectors Ltd is really under pressure! And it is all good! Proud to be Kiwi owned and operating in a tough market place our strong brand and great team means we can also be very proud that we are going against the grain, growing rapidly here and overseas. And although our core business is still hydraulic hoses and fittings we have diversified into allied areas such as fire suppression and automated lubrication systems.
Which is really good for you because now our Auckland based team is in need of another industrial technician as of yesterday!
The Job
This is not just a routine job either. You'll be mainly out on the road in a mobile workshop with heaps of autonomy. You get loads of variety too - all sorts of customers, all sorts of problems, all sorts of locations and all sorts of activities. One minute you will be hands on trouble shooting a lubrication system problem at a customer site, the next you could be in the branch workshop repairing a pump or doing installation of a brand new system for one of our OEM clients. No two days are the same. No time to get bored!
The Person
If you're someone with a background in automated lubrication systems we absolutely want to hear from you! If not but you have mechanical background, a good working knowledge of automated fluid delivery systems and sound diagnostic skills we also want to hear from you!
At heart you will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, have an eye for detail and have strong time management capabilities. You are also not afraid to stretch yourself to do new business development.
To succeed in this role you will also need:
- An outgoing, extroverted personality
- Advanced level fluency in English (read/write/speak)
- The drive and motivation to achieve results
- The ability to self-manage and to self-motivate
- A willingness and flexibility to take on tasks and responsibilities 'outside the square'
- A professional approach to your work
- Be physically fit (some heavy lifting is involved)
- Able and willing to undertake on call work.
