Due to expansion, we have a vacancy available for a Paint Assistant to join our blast and paint team.
Reporting to the Foreman you will be responsible for a range of tasks in our state of the art paint facility, including handling products through forklift and crane operations, and preparation of steel through to final paint. In addition, the role includes sand blasting of components and chassis.
Full training will be provided and this is a great opportunity for someone looking to work hard and increase skills in a leading company in a growth industry.
You will be an early riser and flexible in your work hours, to be one step ahead of the painters. You will have to be fit and strong to lift heavy components and work in well with the team. A strong understanding of Health and Safety is a requirement as you will be working with large components.
TRT are leading manufacturers of Heavy Transport Trailers, Mobile Cranes and Specialised Equipment for Australia and New Zealand. A privately owned, family run business, TRT offers fully integrated engineering design, manufacturing and fabrication along with parts distribution and mechanical/crane service.
