Campus Handyman (Penrose)

This role is a permanent full time role, Monday to Friday and based at our Penrose Campus.  The start and finish time can be flexible, however will generally be around business hours.  No weekend work! The title you will be known as to the business is Maintenance Supervisor.

The Campus has recently undergone a full redevelopment, with four existing buildings undergone refurbishment to be interconnected by a new single level pavilion building at the heart of the campus.  The pavilion includes a reception area, café with kitchen and meeting room suites – the interior fit out has created a modernised office accommodation for our staff – so it’s a nice environment to work in.

This role is requires a “Jack of All Trades” as you will be responsible for maintenance for the whole of the head office campus.  That includes working with the Facilities Manager and Facilities Co-ordinator to keep the current maintenance management plan up to date and your input in to any improvements will be very much welcome. You will also be in charge of either physically doing the works, or arranging contractors to do that, so you will need to be comfortable and confident in most maintenance aspects such as: carpentry, painting, minor building works, handyman jobs, minor plumbing.  There may be requirement to undertake electrical test and tagging, however full training will be provided.

With a high level of customer service and an ability to work unsupervised to take your own initiative and resolve issues around the campus as you find them. You will enjoy being a doer and will take great pride in a job well done!
