My client is a successful and well established company based in Silverdale that specialise in repairing and maintaining all makes of and models of petrol and diesel vehicles including Trucks and other heavy equipment. They are seeking a Trade Qualified Diesel Mechanic to assist with full service and pre Certificate of Fitness work on Trucks and Vans. The work will primarily be workshop based but will also involve call-out work.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure vehicles and associated equipment are maintained according to company policy and vendor recommended programmes.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained in a roadworthy standard and meet regulatory requirements.
- Brake repairs, cambelts, clutches, cooling systems, CV shafts and boots, engines, exhausts, fuel systems, gearboxes, suspension and shocks, transmission services
- Work in a safe manner at all times
- Availability to attend call-outs
- Work as part of a friendly, efficient, hard-working team
Requirements:
- Trade Qualified
- The right to work in NZ
- NZ Drivers Licence
- Relevant experience
- Team Player
