Technical Formulation Officer

• Assist in developing robust, stable and effective formulations (solid oral) to be used for in-house manufacturing
• Conduct experimental testing and evaluation of raw materials, blends and bulk product
• Perform experiments, testing for flavour, solubility, colour, texture and nutritional value for new products and improving existing products
• Working closely with internal team such as production, quality, regulatory affairs, supply chain team, sales, etc for new formulations and improving existing formulations
• Develop or review raw material and finished product specifications
• Preparation and documentation of taste panels and benchmarking on new or amended products
• Sample preparation, analysis and dispatch on time
• Carry out and keep relevant documentation for manufacturing trials
• Comply with all regulatory documentations
• Write product development reports and analyze results
• Perform stability on new products and product packaging
• Participate in investigations into product failure including quality, potency, visual characteristics and other
• Food science degree (or equivalent degree in a science discipline)
• Can thrive in a busy and high-pressured environment
• Organized with attention to detail
• Hands on approach with a flexible attitude
• Good time management and documentation skill
• Self-motivated
