About the role:
Due to continued growth in our Property practice, our Auckland-based team is looking for a solicitor/senior solicitor to join us. We are seeking someone with 3-7 years’ experience to become part of our team based in our Auckland office.
As the successful candidate you will work directly with some of New Zealand’s leading property practitioners including Mark Nicholson, Bill Sandston and Matt Carroll. You will act for asset owners, investors and developers with substantial commercial property portfolios in both the private and public sectors and infrastructure providers. You will assist international investors with the establishment and development of their project. You will be involved in a wide range of projects and have significant client exposure.
As a Chapman Tripp lawyer, you’ll be part of a friendly and social team who work closely together. You’ll be exposed to challenging work, and there will be scope for you to build your practice and long-term client relationships and to advance within the firm.
Relevant Skills and Experience:
- 3-7 years PQE
- Commercially astute and client focused
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Large Law firm experience working on complex transactions - desired
