A rare opportunity has arisen for a junior Solicitor to join a leading suburban practice in its Litigation team. Working under the mentorship of a partner and two senior lawyers in the team, you will be exposed to a range of civil, criminal, family and property disputes where you'll gain exposure to court work. The team is down to earth and supportive of the development of its lawyers.
Ideally, you will have:
- 1+ years law clerking or practising legal experience in a reputable litigation / dispute resolution team (a strong graduate who has completed their Professional Legal Studies may be considered for this position also)
- an interest in developing your career as a litigation lawyer.
- good research, writing and advocacy skills
- a good university academic record
You must be a NZ qualified lawyer (or soon to be admitted lawyer) to apply for this position.
