Your new company
With significant investment planned in their Blenheim plant, this leading Australasian manufacturer committed to growth and is looking for an experience plant accountant who is ready to take the next step in their career.
Your new role
In this role you will have 3 direct reports and will report on a mix of finance, operations and strategy. You’re responsibilities will include:
- Monthly management accounts including budgets, forecasts, and cashflow
- Trend and gap analysis highlighting cause and effect of variances
- Inventory cost analysis and reporting
- Monthly reconciliations
- Implement and maintain health and safety processes with respect to relevant legislation
- Liaise with managers across the business to collate financial information
- Develop and maintain budgets and assist in decision making
- Identify opportunities for process improvement
- Lead your team and drive company culture
What you'll need to succeed
This is a role for an experienced plant accountant ready to grow into a more senior position and looking to join an organisation where they can improve business performance as they grow with the company. You’ll already be a successful plant accountant and:
- Be CA, CIMA, CPA or ACCA qualified with a relevant financial qualification
- Bring an enthusiastic attitude to business improvement
- Have experience in the timber industry
- Easily communicate at multiple levels across a business
- Have evidence of team leadership in your current role
