This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Credit Controller to join our growing organization on a full time basis.We seek a motivated individual with great communication skills and excellent follow through skills.

The Role

As a Credit Controller you will work closely with the finance team, sales team and customers, you will be responsible for monitoring and following debt within the monthly cycle. The successful candidate will communicate with customers to help reduce debt and work with and assist the existing Credit Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer service/ relationship building
  • Managing overdue accounts within the company's credit policy
  • Ensuring that invoices are paid in a timely manner
  • Following up on overdue invoices by telephone and email
  • Maintaining detailed records of follow up activities
  • Generating reminder letters
  • Liaising with the sales team to resolve outstanding queries
  • Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices
  • Working to meet monthly collections targets

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a credit related role involving collections
  • An accounting certificate or qualification would be an advantage but not mandatory
  • Strong customer service attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
