Seeking stand-out junior/ intermediate solicitor with experience in litigation.
Your new company
This is an established law firm located in the centre of Christchurch. This is a full service law firm with a lot of focus on litigation. They pride themselves on the reputation they have acquired for quality service and attention to their Clients’ needs.
Your new role
Your new role will require you to rely on your litigation skills and experience to provide support to the Senior Solicitors and Partners. This is a broad litigation role that will build on your legal foundation. Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Drafting advice, pleadings, correspondences
- Work closely with Seniors and Partners and Counsel
- Conduct research and present to your colleagues and Seniors
- Attend to trial preparations and attend to Court matters
- Assist with business development
- Consult with Clients, experts and Counsel
What you'll need to succeed
- You must be admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor to the High Court of New Zealand;
- You have litigation experience and enjoy working in that field
- Preferably you have at least one year solid experience working in a New Zealand law firm
