Do you have experience in insurance claims to help provide guidance and advice to other assessors?

Our client is seeking the skills of a Senior Claims Assessor. Key to this role will be your ability to manage the incoming compensation claim workflow end-to-end. You will complete your work with claims, however will also provide guidance and mentorship to other team members. 
  
 As a Senior Claims Assessor, you will be responsible for:

• Coaching and mentoring claims assessors and supporting the wider team;
• Leading discussions on establishing compensation guidelines for individual responses;
• Supporting leadership and management to ensure that all are working effectively and efficiently;
• Displaying comprehensive subject matter knowledge and understanding of stakeholder perspectives;
• Proactively keeping up to date with relevant policies, practices and trends;
• Identifying and managing risks to the plan, programme and allocating tasks to deliver the team’s outcomes;
• Taking responsibility for tasks and decisions; setting clear objectives and measures; monitoring process, progress, and results; designing feedback loops into work;
• And acting as a role model who demonstrates values and is collaborative, trusting and candid at building internal relationships to achieve business goals.

You will bring with you strong analytical and problem solving skills along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have the ability to think clearly and make decisions under pressure and manage workflows.  

Your ability to exercise judgement and act on you own initiative is essential along with your proven ability to think strategically and offer advice and services to enable the delivery of strategic outcomes.

Additionally you MUST have at least three years experience in a similar role to be considered.
