The Opportunity
 
Our Timaru Branch is looking for a leader! We are recruiting for a new  Branch Manager to join us!
 
The Timaru Branch is a paperless office of around 6 other hardworking and commitment teammates.  In your role as Manager you will be responsible for this team, reporting yourself to the South Canterbury Regional Manager.
 
Day-to-day you would work within the Commercial and Rural division, maintaining existing and building new relationships with stakeholders to grow your portfolio. You will identify and drive new business activity and be involved in strategic planning that leads to the overall growth of the Timaru Branch.
 
This role will be all about autonomy! If you happen to drive past a client on the way to work in the morning – go ahead and drop in! You will have total work/life flexibility, as long as you are visible in the office and getting the work done.
 
About you
 

In this role we are looking for an Insurance Subject Matter Expert that can support the team with any technical questions or concerns. 

We will be looking for:

  • A strong background in commercial Insurance
  • Proven experience leading small teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strategic planning skills that contribute to revenue growth
