DUTY MANAGER /  HEAD CHEF / PART TIME CHEF

 

Alfrescos Restaurant is one of Paihia’s busiest restaurants we are open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

We are looking to fill two positions we need a professional and dedicated Duty Manager and Head Chef to help with the day to day running of the restaurant.

 

Duty Manager applicants must hold a current Duty Managers license and have a minimum of 3 years experience. This is a full time position with immediate start, applicant must be available to work flexible hours with change of season.


Head Chef applicants would work closely with the Exuative Chef to help manage the overall kitchen operation, ensuring a smooth service and high quality of food delivered to customers. Applicants must have a minimum 3 years experience in a senior kitchen role. This is a full time position with immediate start, applicant must be available to work flexible hours with change of season.

 

We are also on the hunt for a Part time chef to fill


Both candidates must be motivated and demonstrate a high level of maturity. These roles require somebody who is not afraid of accepting responsibility and someone who is passionate about the hospitality industry and works well within a team.

Candidate’s must-
- Work closely with the Management to improve standards.
- Ensure respect between all staff is maintained at all times.

-Help with food and beverage menu updates.
-Comply with and enforce standards.
- Train staff.
- Share knowledge and experience to motivate and inspire fellow colleagues.
- Completing ordering and liaise with suppliers.
- Drive service standards to ensure the highest level of service execution is achieved.
- Be hands on throughout all areas of the front of house operation.
- Exceptional organizational and customers service delivery skills.
- A good understanding of the financial aspects of managing this area.
- A positive "CAN DO" attitude.
- Ability to work well in a busy environment, while maintaining high standards.
- Flexibility of availability – able to work days/evenings/weekends.
