The Job
Rendezvous Hotel Christchurch are currently seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, career driven individual to be a part of their kitchen brigade on a Part-time basis in the role of Commis Chef. This is a unique opportunity for someone to come on board and become part of TFE hotels ever growing portfolio.
This position would suit an enthusiastic and professional individual with outstanding verbal communication skills. You must also be able to work in a team environment whilst playing a vital role in delivering and presenting high quality food.
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven exemplary customer service skills
- Strong communication skills (inter-personally savvy)
- Occupational Health & Safety qualifications/skills (in food, chemical, and manual handling)
- Organised (ability to plan and be proactive, time management efficient)
- Creative (unique and full of ideas, ability to solve difficult problems)
Previous experience in a similar hotel role is preferred
