Vivace is looking for a chef de partie . We are in our 26th year and are in the CBD Auckland. We are open Monday-Saturdays for lunch and dinners. We do not open public holidays and have an annual close down over the Christmas- New Year period.
We are looking for someone with a passion for food, in a tight family like team, working with food from the Mediterranean. We have a fantastic, friendly, welcoming team here at Vivace.
They should have the ability to work under pressure when required & exhibit good time management. We are looking for a reliable, happy person who wants to turn up each day on time & with a "can-do" attitude and be proud of the food they serve..
Any applicant needs to be in NZ now and be available for an interview and eligible to work full time for a minimum of 45 hours per week. The applicant needs to have a la carte kitchen experience of at least 3 years preferably 2 of those in a medium to large style a la carte restaurant, they need to have experience at chef de partie level minimum. For communication reasons within the front of house team & a multilingual kitchen they must have fluent spoken & written English.
