• Due to contiued expansion within the area and recent developments within our team we are

  now looking to recruit a Head Chef to lead, grow and further develop the business.

  The successful applicant will have a very positive mental attitude, enjoy a challenge and be a

  highly energetic self motivated individual, capable of managing all facets within the kitchen

  whilst ensuring the delivery of exceptional food, presented well, on time.

  Its imperative that you have previous experience of running a fast-paced kitchen, can work

  well under pressure and effectively manage and motivate a team.

  This role would suit a Head Chef looking for a new challenge, or a senior sous chef who has

  invaluable experience and is truly ready to take the next step in their career.

  The right individual will be responsible for controlling all aspects of costing,from managing

  GP's to staff costs, have competant negotiation skills and great supplier relationships as well

  as the willingness to go and above the call of duty to ensure customer satisfaction.

  You must already LIVE in New Zealand and have a current WORK VISA.

  All applicants must have:

   A minimum of 4 years management level experience in busy, high quality gastro

  restaurants

   International experience

   Financial acumen - costings, GP and staff costs.

   Menu development experience

  Our bar and restaurant prides itself on our high quality of food and service, offering a large

  range of meals and snacks throughout the day and night. Our current menu is incredibly

  successful and we have earned our fantastic reputation by being consistent, innovative and

  simple.

  The job will suit someone very passionate, vibrant, energetic and eager to further improve

  their, and others, skillsets whilst working well in a young team. The job also requires the

  successful candidate to work days and nights, all weekends and public holidays when

  required.
