Clinical Nurse Manager / Aged Care
As you lead your clinical team at this private hospital, rest home and village complex in Timaru, you will be ensuring your clients enjoy Quality Nursing care.
- Monitor and mentor your clinical nursing & care team
- Ensure clinical service delivery meets your high expectations
- Build relationships with residents, families and external agencies
Our client is looking for a multi-skilled individual who has a fine balance between clinical nursing experience and people leadership talent. This is a role for a Clinical Nurse Manager, who will be responsible for overseeing the clinical service delivery and supporting their team.
Using your extensive clinical nursing experience, knowledge of the aged care sector and amazing leadership skills, this will be somewhere you can flourish
This role includes:
- Overseeing nursing teams
- Ensuring your site is compliant and audit-ready
- Managing your budget (consumables/ staffing etc)
- Investing your time and expertise in your staff as you mentor and support them
- Creating an environment of pride & excellence
- Providing staff education and ongoing development
- Working alongside the Manager as together you promote your special blend of Caring and Quality to your residents and their families, as well as the wider community.
You will need at least 3+ years experience at Clinical Leadership level in aged care
- New Zealand Nursing Registration and current APC
- Brilliant interpersonal skills and
- The ability to inspire and mentor your team
