0.6 FTE (48 hours per fortnight)
The Bay of Plenty District Health Board is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife (SCBU) to work in our Whakatane Maternity Unit.
This is a Level two Maternity Unit with a Special Care Baby Unit within the Maternity Unit.
There is 24/7 Obstetric and Paediatric cover, all primary care is provided by a Lead Maternity Carer with support from the staff, and staff accepting the handovers to secondary care such as epidural and syntocinon infusions when the primary provider not providing this care.
If you have the ability to work across the scope of nursing and/or midwifery practice including SCBU practice in a secondary care unit and enjoy working with a busy team, we would be pleased to hear from you!
