Drug Treatment Programme - Arohata Women’s Prison
We require an experienced an Addictions Counsellor to join our friendly team at the Drug Treatment Programme at Arohata Prison.
To be successful in this role you'll need to be committed to working in a dedicated team to support prisoners affected by alcohol and other drugs to turn their lives around.
You will enjoy working from a strength based solutions focused perspective.
An ability to build, develop and sustain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders is a must. No two days are the same so flexibility and adaptability are the key.
The preferred candidate will hold;
- a qualification in AOD counselling
- experience in addiction counselling
- full DAPAANZ registration
