Cantabria Lifecare is a 174 bed aged care facility located in central region of Rotorua.
We are currently seeking an experienced Unit Coordinator to work on a full time basis, who is a reliable team player and has a real passion for working with the elderly.
This is an opportunity to work in an incredibly rewarding environment, with our elders, who make the job an ab pleasure.
The ideal candidate must have the following skill base:
- Provide high level clinical leadership and support to clinical and care staff.
- Able to support and provide direction to RN’s on the floor
- InterRai trained
- Experience and knowledge working in aged care in hospital and rest home settings required
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of quality improvement systems and auditing and compliance
- Knowledge of health and safety
- Knowledge of aged care education needs and requirements for clinical staff
- Ability to deliver education
- Eligibility to work in NZ
- First Aid certificate would be preferred
