A permanent part-time position has become available for a Registered Nurse - Patient Transport at Whakatane Hospital.

Ideally, the Registered Nurse applicant will have an excellent clinical practice record, great organisational and communication skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a largely autonomous role.

The ideal applicant will have previous patient transport experience, a current Level 6 ACLS certificate, is comfortable travelling in an ambulance and is physically fit.

Experience in critical care, coronary care or emergency settings is an advantage. Some flexibility in hours of work is often required due to the nature of transport work.
