Hynds Pipes Limited is a friendly family owned business, established approximately 45 years ago. We pride ourselves in being Market Leaders within the Civil Construction Industry. Presently we are recruiting Wastewater Engineer - South Island.
Reporting directly to the Wastewater Manager, the main purpose of this role is to provide technical and commercial support to design Consultants and Installers. With the key focus on residential and commercial products.
Some duties includes:
- Working with customers at the conceptual stage of the project
- Ensure projects are designed, tracked, quoted and supplied accurately
- First point of contact for customers involved in design and installation of waste water
- Provide designers, installers and Councils with technical information
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers
- Manage the CLM commercial project database
- Promote and support Hynds Values and Culture
- Work on the development of new or existing Wasterwater products
Experience/Skills:
- Proven experience in Waste water - but not essential
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
- Possess commercial acumen and understands engineering solutions
- Strong technical knowledge preferred
- Good level of MS Office skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with Suppliers
- Good working knowledge of Health and Safety
