Our engineering machinery sales organisation has a position available for an Engineering Machinery Technician / Service Engineer at our Christchurch branch.

We are looking for a person with engineering or automotive experience who is a quick learner and has an eye for detail. The following qualities are also required:

• Mechanical competence
• Can easily grasp technical concepts
• Hydraulic, electrical or CNC experience would be an advantage
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively manage workload and priorities.
• Motivated personality
• High quality standards

This position will cover a wide range of duties including:

• Mechanical repairs to engineering type machinery
• Presentation of machines
• Pre-delivery testing and quality control
• Troubleshooting
• Quality assurance documentation
