Our client are a precision engineering business based in Hawkes Bay and they are looking for a CNC Machinist with programming/ CAD/CAM experience to join their team focusing on the design and manufacture of bespoke manufacturing components.
  
The Job:
The successful applicant for this position will be involved in the machining of individual and personalized products for the manufacturing industry. This role will involve working in a ‘job shop’ rather than a high volume production environment and will involve working with a variety of different machines. The machine shop operates 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC milling machines and has both machine driven and manual lathes. Almost every manufactured piece will be an individual, which is why CAD/CAM experience, as well as machine setting and operation is key to the role. 
 
The requirements of this role are:

• Must have strong experience in precision engineering
• Extensive CNC Programming, setting and operating experience
• CAD/CAM experience
• Experience with 3, 4 or 5 axis machines
• Positive attitude
• Trade Qualified
