The Company:
A specialised structural engineering consultancy in the heart of the city with a great Christchurch reputation. It is a company that enjoys what they do which shows in the office environment with a friendly staff and great Director. They have a number of office perks, one of these being a gym in the office and also do a number of social activities which are about having fun. They specialise on high end residential but also have a mix of commercial projects.
The Opportunity:
The role is for a Structural Drafter who has worked in a New Zealand engineering consultancy and is keen to move into an office with an employee-centric culture. They have a solid future of work and are looking to bring someone on who will be able to add their expertise while helping to keep growing the business. To be considered for this position you will be proficient with AutoCAD and have worked on residential structures within New Zealand
About you:
- New Zealand structural drafting experience.
- Excellent attitude.
- Able to communicate well with staff and management.
- A good understanding of NZS 3604.
- Ability to work with and mentor junior engineers.
