KNCC is a leading premier building construction company specialise in high quality complex building projects and due to our continued success, we wish to recruit civil engineers to join our team based in Auckland.
RESPONSIBILITY
In this role you will be require to carry out all the traditional duties of Civil Engineers which include
- Analyzing construction methods, materials and quality standards, specifications, drawings, drawings, construction methods and procedures
- Establishing detailed programs to organize and oversee the provision of construction materials, plants and equipment, and to coordinate on-site activities.
- Determining the strength, compressibility, and other factors affecting the behavior of soil and rock structures, and determine the soil and rock loading at different depths across the site and test samples.
- Studying building and engineering drawings and specifications to estimate total costs and prepare detailed cost plans and estimates as a tool to support budget management
- Monitoring design changes, evaluate cost impact, measure design variation, assess value, and negotiate
- Structural system analysis for static and dynamic loads
- Designing structures so that they do not collapse, bend, twist, or vibrate in an undesirable way.
- Evaluating Current and Future Travel Flow Patterns Considering Population Growth and Demand Changes
REQUIREMENTS
You will have 3 or more years of relevant on-site experience
A full, clean driver’s license is preferred but not essential.
