Do you have the interesting combination of skills for a role that is part financial analyst, business analyst and data analyst? This role plays an integral part to ensure the continuous success of the transformation programme, through regular interaction with senior leaders (group-wide) and meaningfully contributing to one of the business’s top priorities.
What you will do:
- Interpret data to identify trends, risks and opportunities
- Assisting in tracking and reconciling the financials, as reported in the transformation tool, to the financials as reported in the GL
- Develop and automate reports: Understand business needs and data sources to provide answers to the relevant questions.
- Maintain reports and data: Modify and reconcile reports when underlying data structures change and use judgement to exclude outliers.
- Managing the configuration of our transformation tool as the “single source of truth”
- Provide ad-hoc problem solving and work with key stakeholders to drive issues to resolution in development of targets, transformation rules of engagement, reconciliation with actuals and producing effective communications
- Preparation and dissemination of action trackers (reports), updating actions in the reporting and tracking tool, as well as following up with team and providing guidance on any issues
- System training: provide training to stakeholders in using our transformation tool
What we are looking for:
- Strong financial analysis and modelling skills
- Advanced in Microsoft Office applications i.e., Excel, PowerPoint. VBA skills preferable, or willingness to learn VBA
- Experience in translating business needs into building reports which add value & insights
- Excellent attention to detail and perseverance to reconcile imbalances
- Insatiable curiosity to achieve more
- Pragmatic problem-solver (80/20)
- Proven history of being proactive
- Ability to work effectively in a high pace and constantly changing environment
- Excellent people skills, ability to connect & communicate well with people at all levels
