The role
We are currently looking for a candidate interested in newly created role of Business Analyst for Accounting Applications. This role is responsible for all the accounting applications used across the business. The successful candidate will:
- Define best practices for systems’ usage
- Ensure its implementation
- Conduct users’ training
- Ensure there is one process used in all of the teams across the firm.
This role requires working closely with the business to ascertain alternatives for key business problems. This involves gathering, prioritising and validating of business requirements. The successful candidate will also need to write documentation, map and design new business processes, re-design existing business process and define operational process metrics.
The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of accounting experience, be tech-savvy with a strong focus on data and an expert in accounting business processes and systems (AE/XPA/VC/Power BI). Project management experience, BI systems knowledge, understanding of systems integration and knowledge or interest in programming languages would be an advantage.
