This prospect will interest both candidates currently employed within professional practice and within commerce and industry. Joining a global compliance and reporting team, you'll be tasked with working with clients on the management of their corporate tax compliance, statutory reporting and corporate secretarial obligations.
Partnering closely with prominent organisations, you'll act as a trusted advisor to their business. Operating at Manager level, you will assist clients with their statutory reporting, identify planning and advisory opportunities and implement corporate governance procedures. You will utilise your analytical strengths in driving efficiencies which may include the implementation of software solutions and automation of client reporting functions with a focus on interpretation of information.
With a strong compliance background you will help large and international clients identify risk areas and develop planning ideas. Clients may come from any number of industries and structures you will provide technical advice on how to manage their compliance obligations and assist them with their accounting calculations and reconciliations. You'll utilise your well developed communication skills, liaising closely with clients, global teams, auditors and tax specialists.
You'll need to demonstrate statutory reporting skills and be up to date with IFRS. A strong client focus and the ability to develop relationships are paramount. You'll take responsibility for a small team which is likely to grow in time so you'll need to demonstrate the capacity to manage others. Ideally your skills will have been gained in a big 4 or mid tier accounting firm, a large corporate environment, or a combination of the two.
