Urgently looking for a trade qualified mechanical fitter who has some experience in the manufacturing industry. This is a long-term role based in Auckland

Client Details

Michael Page Engineering and Manufacturing are working in partnership with a market leading manufacturer who is currently searching for a Mechanical Fitter to join their existing team. They are delivery sustained profitable growth within commercial and domestic markets and are continually working to ensure that they produce specialist products to the highest quality standards.

Description

• Carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown work
• Troubleshooting engineering-related production issues
• Developing/improving maintenance systems
• Keeping good documentation on repairs and any ongoing maintenance issues
• Project/plant development work

Profile

To be successful, you need to have the following:

• Strong mechanical diagnostic problem-solving skills
• Excellent fitting, fabrication and machining skills
• Have the ability to effectively perform preventative maintenance checks
• Tertiary qualification or Trades Qualification/background
• An uncompromising attitude towards H&S
