Our Water Business
Our multi-disciplinary team works across water, wastewater and stormwater, as well as surface waters and irrigation; partnering with clients spanning the municipal, industrial, transportation, commercial, mining and agricultural sectors. Together we make things happen on projects throughout New Zealand, Australia, the Pacific and South East Asia. As our clients continue to call on our expertise, we’re right there beside them and are looking for more great people to join our team.
The Opportunity
With a strong pipeline of work we are looking for a Design Manager to help us push project design and delivery excellence across our business.
Based in Auckland you will be managing multi-disciplinary projects across a range of industries from proposal through to completion. You will utilise strong project management skills to manage internal teams and client relationships ensuring projects are completed to time, cost and agreed service levels. This is an interesting and varied role that will provide career growth and challenge.
About You
You are a confident and capable engineer, looking to grow your career in design management you will ideally have 5+ years engineering experience with a passion for design, you must also:
- Be organised, adaptable and able to think outside the box
- Have good inter-personal skills
- Be a great communicator; able to explain complex issues to a range of user groups
- Have experience running project teams
- Be confident with business development and have advanced relationship management skills
- Be able to champion delivery across the business
