The Pitch.
Our engineering team here at CCANZ is committed to best in class electrical standards, but we need someone to lead the way and to continually develop our machine’s performance and line efficiencies across the country. So if you're a passionate electrical/control systems engineer with a strong automation background and commitment to continuous improvement, then we want to talk to you.
The Role.
Reporting to our National Engineering & Projects Manager, you will lead all electrical/automation projects, ensuring alignment to best practice, with a focus on nationwide implementation. You'll contribute directly to the achievement of the engineering strategic plan and company wide objectives while continually seeking out continuous improvement opportunities across the electrical function. Finally, you'll also provide technical support to our maintenance engineers ensuring they are operating efficiently and effectively.
What do I need?
To be successful in this role, you'll need a strong electrical, automation and control systems background; experience in a high speed manufacturing environment would be ideal. You'll need to hold NZ Electrical Registration, have tertiary qualifications (BE preferred) and a strong track record in resolving and improving complex Automation and Control Systems issues. The ability to form relationships and communicate with people across all levels of the business and in multiple functions will prove invaluable.
